The Golden Sage Massage is balanced, adaptable, light and relaxing to deep and therapeutic. This style comes from a community service traditional based international school. The Golden Sage Massage is rooted in the Older Okazaki Restorative Massage Tradition from 1929 that has been nurtured for over 25 years, from this practitioner, with study and experience, and is artfully applied according to the needs of the recipient.
The Okazaki Restorative Massage In 1929, Prof. Okazaki moved to Honolulu on the island of Oahu. It was here that he opened the Okazaki "Sefukujutsu In", or Okazaki Adjustment and Restoration Clinic which would eventually be called the Nikko Restoration Sanatorium.
The Okazaki Massage is an Oriental Energy based and Western Sports style massage taught and practiced internationally.

Massage describes numerous forms of hands-on healing/bodywork.
Techniques involve soft-tissue manipulation, effleurage (stroking), Petri sage (kneading), vibration, tapping, finger pressure to specific points and concentrated pressure to individual muscles.
Amma Massage
Amma massage is an ancient therapeutic massage that dates back to 2697 B.C. and is based on traditional Chinese medicine.
This massage is based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and uses all the techniques of the major forms of therapeutic massage.
Pressure and touch are applied to specific points on the body as well as the energy channels (the same channels as acupuncture) on which they are found.
The aim is to restore, promote and maintain optimal health by removing energy blockages according to individual needs.
Principles of oriental massage
Yin & yang are the polarity of forces that actively change throughout the day, season life, but maintain a balance.
The body is a microcosm of the universe with the vital force (ki in Japanese) circulating through
energy pathways known as channels, of which there are twelve.
Balance and flow of ki are needed to maintain health.
The stimulation of the 361 points or openings along the channels moves the ki, affecting an organ system and freeing blocked energy-enhancing wellness.
